PARENT COORDINATOR

Massachusetts Parent Coordinator | Divorce & Family Law Attorneys | Alternative Dispute Resolution Lawyers

Many people tell us that one of the most difficult periods in their lives is learning how to cooperate with their ex-spouse / ex-partner in parenting their children. Parent coordination is a relatively new concept designed to assist parents whose relationship with the other parent is considered “high conflict.” Parent coordinators are appointed by the Court, usually with the consent of the parties, after a custody order has been entered. The parent coordinator helps resolve issues such as visitation exchanges, holidays, medical care, extracurricular activities and education; he/she usually has the power to decide the issue. The attorneys at Fields and Dennis LLP hold certificates from the National Parent Counseling Association.

VICKI SHEMIN, JONATHAN FIELDS, AND SHERYL DENNIS ARE APPROVED FOR PARENT COORDINATION CASES BY STANDING ORDER 1-17
