Known as one of the thirteen villages in Newton, Newton Corner is bordered by Brighton and the city of Watertown. Notable residents have included former US Port Laureate Robert Pinsky, professional wrestler Tal Zou, and folk artist Sidewalk Sam. Local landmarks in Newton Corner are the Newton Corner Bell, the Evangelical Baptist Church, Allison Park, Hawthorn Playground, and the nearby Charles River.
