Should you tell your child that your husband’s affair caused the divorce? The question can only be answered with a deafening “maybe.” Teenagers require and can take more information than toddlers, and if the information is already public knowledge, you’ll have to work with it. But in general, it may not a good idea to make one parent the villain and the other the victim in a divorce.
