Newton Corner

Known as one of the thirteen villages in Newton, Newton Corner is bordered by Brighton and the city of Watertown. Notable residents have included former US Port Laureate Robert Pinsky, professional wrestler Tal Zou, and folk artist Sidewalk Sam. Local landmarks in Newton Corner are the Newton Corner Bell, the Evangelical Baptist Church, Allison Park, Hawthorn Playground, and the nearby Charles River. In terms of education, Newton Corner has a number of elementary schools such as Jackson-Walnut, Horace Mann, and Underwood. There are also a couple of middle schools such as Bigelow Middle School and F.A. Day School, as well as a specialty school for massage therapy: the Cortiva Institute.  The village of Newton Corner can be reached by Interstate 90 and Route 16.
